Last night, assistant costume director Adam M. Dill and i attended Spoonflower's holiday party at their new location in Durham, NC, just right up the street from my house!
In addition to providing a lovely spread of hors d'oeurvres (including some peppermint chip cookies to die for), the staff were so welcoming and friendly, and gave us a tour of their new digs. Check it out!

Entryway display of products made by Etsy crafters using Spoonflower fabrics.

A peek into the temperature- and humidity-controlled printing room, which currently houses seven fabric printing machines. These were up and running and producing fabrics throughout the party!

Adam leaping into the mountain of damaged fabric lengths, waiting to go off to fabric recycling.

Heat setting machine that sets the inks for yardage on bolts.

Order-filling tables and Spoonflower parasols hanging from the ceiling!

Shipping station with piles of fabric orders ready to pack and ship!
The party was a great time, fascinating to see their facility, and made me super excited to hopefully work with them in future on creation of fabric for a stage production!
