labricoleuseI realize lately my entries have tended more toward the non-project-documentation side of things--if you read this blog for the cool projects, i promise there are some of those in the pipeline soon.
Back in May, i posted about the death of celebrated fashion stylist and millinery muse Isabella Blow. The other day my mother sent me a clipping of an article in the most recent New York Magazine about her life and death; it's accessible online so i thought i'd share the link here. The writing tone is a little bizarre, overblown, and melodramatic, but i suppose that Mrs. Blow was all of those things as well. If nothing else, there are a couple good images of her more extreme hats paging through.
