La Bricoleuse Turns Three!
Jun. 15th, 2009 06:01 pmThree years ago today i started this blog with a vague goal of creating a shared public space to talk about my profession--costume crafts artisanship.
The ways in which it has grown since astound me--it's expanded to encompass such a range of related topics--couture, historical methods and artisans, fiber art, media and technique, reviews, tutorials...man, i really could go on.
I've got a couple of photoposts (one fiber-art-oriented and one mask-oriented) in the pipeline i hope to get written up in the next coupla days and a few new features brewing, but today i thought i'd just say, thank you. A blog without readers is a tree falling in the forest. Well, except not, since it's paperless publishing, so maybe that's not a good metaphor.
Point being, i am so glad to be rolling up into my fourth year with this project, and so proud of what it's become, and so thrilled there are people out there who are interested enough to share it with. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
