We've been so busy with Cabaret, i've slacked off on sharing some of the period pattern class projects. But i'll catch up! Today, 1930s evening looks and 1940s daywear looks.

L to R: second year Candy McClernan's pink charmeuse with sequin detail, third-year Adrienne Corral's interpretation of a Vionnet design in mottled burnout velvet, second year Leah Pelz's interpretation of a Vionnet design in teal rayon crepe, second year Kelly Renko's peacock charmeuse gown.
I usually make some comment about which style i'd want to wear--in this case, i will be wearing one of these, because i bought Leah's fabric if she'd drape the project to my measurements!

Back view of Leah's gown (soon to be MINE!) and front detail of Kelly's.

A better back view of Candy's dress.

L to R: Peplum half-drape by Kelly Renko, sweet playsuit by Leah Pelz, and a utility dress by Adrienne Corral
