She used Jumbo Braid, but instead of doing stitched wefts with it, she used this process which a couple of our other students developed, whereby you lay the hair out on waxed paper, smooth it AMAP using a wig hackle, then paint it with white glue. You let it dry overnight, then peel it off, flip it over, and do the same process on the other side. It basically makes these "sheets" of hair that you can then use to cover the base structure.
