Millinery class: two more wig projects
I neglected to post these images of two more wig projects from my millinery class, but i think they are worth the wait!

18th century with with ship by undergraduate Lydia Hanchett. She developed a method of invisibly wefting loose Jumbo Braid for the hair portion of this piece. The boat itself is balsa wood, rigged with fabric and string.

Another view of Lydia's fantastic wig!

Marge Simpson wig of hand-dyed wool roving on a buckram foundation by first-year grad Corinne Hodges.
